Touch Points and Dominion Win Awards for Project Plant It!

In partnership with Dominion Virginia Power, Touch Points won two awards at the 2010 Commonwealth Awards/Virginia Public Relations Awards, sponsored by PRSA Richmond. Both awards were in recognition of Touch Points' work on Project Plant It!, the program developed by Dominion to educate children, plant trees and improve the environment. The program in its entirety won an Award of Merit in the Community Relations Campaigns category. Also, Touch Points identified and media-trained a third-grader to be a student spokesperson for six radio interviews and a live television interview. This successful public relations tactic won an Award of Excellence in the Creative Tactics category.
